Electrical Infrared Inspection
Electrical infrared thermography inspection is a non-contact diagnostic technique that uses an infrared imaging camera to detect temperature variations in electrical systems and equipment. Electrical thermography helps identify potential problems such as overheating components, uneven load distribution, under-capacity components, loose connections, and so on. Electrical infrared inspection is very helpful to maintain reliability, to prevent safety accident, and to reduce energy consumption. Sometime this kind of inspection is also called electrical thermal imaging inspection. ––Omazaki Consultant is a consultant or thermographer who serves electrical system and equipment such as electrical panel and transformer infrared thermography inspection, survey, testing, scanning, investigation and/or audit assessment service in Indonesia. Contact us by sending an email to cs@omazaki.co.id or filling out the form in the contact.

Procedure of Electrical Infrared Survey & Inspection
- Plan the object and the thermal imaging camera
- Scan the the object with the camera
- Analyze the result
- Report and propose corrective action

Delta T Criteria for Electrical
Delta T is temperature difference or temperature rise of the objects to a defined reference. The defined reference is typically the ambient air temperature, a similar component under the same conditions or the maximum allowable temperature of the component.

Absolute Temperature Criteria for Electrical
Absolute reference temperature is base value to identify electrical system and equipment exceptions. Below is absolute temperature for over-current devices based on Infrared Institute.
